Personal Research Project at Elite Prep Academy
The Personal Research Project is a signature component of the Elite Prep Academy experience, designed to help students transform their curiosity into meaningful, self-directed inquiry.
Each student selects a topic aligned with their Signature Academic Track and works with a faculty advisor to explore a real-world question or challenge. Through research, experimentation, interviews, and analysis, students produce a final product that may take the form of a research paper, invention, business proposal, film, performance, or community initiative.
This project fosters critical thinking, creativity, and independence—skills essential for success in college and beyond. Students present their findings to the school community and often use the project to strengthen college applications, scholarship portfolios, and competitions.
At EPA, we believe that when students are given the tools and trust to lead their own learning, they uncover not only knowledge—but purpose.
